hi,

I have just been given an assignment by my lecturer. I have been instructed to set up both LAN and WAN network for a company. The company is a 4 storey building and has currently 40 staff. This Number is expected to grow with time, so increasing number of population should be taken into consideration.

The company have developed and spread their business in 6 strategic locations in asia and so the WAN should take that into consideration.

How do i go about that????????

i have two offices spaced at some 1 km , to connect by wireless.

one end already has an adsl router.i have obtained POE injectors, 12dbi directional, 2APs and there is LOS

i need to know how to setup the APs on both ends. i.e which side to setup bridge, AP mode, security concerns etc.

thanks
