I’d recommend http://www3.crashplan.com/landing/index.html , which allow to backup your files to a friend or another computer in the network or in the whole internet for free, and an optional subscription service

And it works on ubuntu and mac too. I use it in all 3 platforms, all perfect.

This is GREAT. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while, and all along I thought it was something to do with the character encoding in FF. %S works beautifully!
